Rotary encourages conversations to foster understanding within and across cultures. We train adults and young leaders to prevent and mediate conflict and help refugees who have fled dangerous areas.

The progress center renovation was completed in 2025 and the impact is starting to show already. The students have a brighter classroom which is conducive to learning. Our project raised awareness not only about the poor situation of the classroom and the toilet facilities, but of the need to educate people on students with special needs, and the support they need.

The 2025 edition of Carols by Candlelight was a resounding success, bringing together families, students, children, Rotarians, and community members to celebrate the festive season with music, generosity, and unity. Hosted at Prince Edward School, the event blended tradition with purpose, creating a memorable evening for the children that came from the children’s homes.

Working with partners, the community and friends of Rotary, the Club managed to raise funds from the Carols night and the blanket donation drive with the view to donate over 100 blankets to various Children homes in Harare. The handover was done on 29 May 2026 at the Rotary Center

The Club actively participates in the End Polio Now campaigns by dedicating resources that would asist the organisers, selling of tickets, marathon runners and any other areas of the campaigns to ensure the message is echoed loudly of Rotary’s fight against Polio.

The club in partnership with the Health Volunteers for Africa (HVA), Rotary International and Portnet Corporation, provided free medical treatment to the villagers in Guruve District. A donation of medical Sundries was also made to the various clinics in the district.
